Building Dilapidation Inspection Report

This report details the condition of a property before and after building or excavation work has been carried out on a
neighbouring property.

The initial inspection and report is carried out before the neighbouring works commence and documents any existing
damage and cracking on the property.

A final inspection and report is carried out at the completion of the neighbouring works and any changes in the condition
of the inspected property are documented.

Why get a Building Dilapidation Inspection Report?

can be forwarded to the building contractor responsible for causing the damage so the necessary remedial work can
be carried out on your property.

If you decide to take legal action against another party for the damage their building or excavation work has caused to
your property it is important that you have thorough written and photographic evidence of the damage caused to your
property to support your claim.
